Tensions are rising between Bindi Irwin and her younger brother Robert as he pursues his solo career. As 21-year-old Robert prepares to host another season of I'm A Celebrity, a rift is reportedly brewing between the two siblings. According to New Idea, Bindi, 26, wants her brother to be spend more time focusing on their family business.
'Bindi wants Robert to be making decisions about his career that will pay off in a way of bringing attention and people to Australia Zoo,' a source told the magazine. 'That’s always her focus … conservation first, celebrity status second. And she thinks it should be his too.'.
Along with their mother Terri and Bindi's husband Chandler, the siblings operate wildlife conservation park Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast. According to New Idea, Bindi (pictured) wants her brother to be spend more time focusing on their family business. The past year has seen a surge in popularity for Robert, which saw him nominated for the coveted Gold Logie award. Robert, who boasts an impressive 6million followers on Instagram, also appears to be trying build his TV profile.
