Boy, 16, and man, 20, seriously injured in horror stabbing on Manchester street as cops launch manhunt for suspects

A DOUBLE stabbing has left a man and teenager with serious injuries. The horror took place near Rushford Street and Purcell Street in Longsight, Manchester at around 7pm on Tuesday night. The men, aged 16 and 20 were found by cops at the scene with stab wounds. Witnesses claim a "fight" took place shortly before the knife attack yet no arrests have been made. Pictures circulating online show fleets of police cars and ambulances arrive at the scene.

Detective Inspector Terina Arthern, from GMP's City of Manchester division said: “We have launched an investigation, and we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the timeline of events which led to two young men being injured tonight.
