The talent show boss showed off his sense of humour as he drove around the town in a gold Volkswagen campervan that featured a hilarious sticker on the driver's door.
Simon is said to have agreed to the move as he joins Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in deciding who advances to the live shows.
Simon also managed to get his fellow judges in on the silliness and they all posed behind a typical seaside photo board.
For the 2025 series, show bosses decided to move filming to the seaside town instead of the usual Palladium theatre in London's West End.
