Brooklyn Beckham threw his support behind an alternative form of detox therapy on Thursday, after making the shocking revalation that he's eaten cod sperm. David and Victoria Beckham's eldest child, 25, took to his Instagram story to share a snap of his back as he underwent a session of the anicent Chinese body work technique of cupping therapy.

The bizarre-looking treatment is a form of alternative medicine, in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of heated cups. Cupping is said to help decrease pain and inflammation, increase blood flow, reduce stress and even help things like skin issues or cellulite.

The cups used can either be bamboo, glass, silicone or earthenware, and the treatment can be wet or dry. Cupping usually leaves red, circular marks in the treated area, which usually heals in around 10 days, but can take up to a month to disappear.
