Carlo Ancelotti has denied reports claiming he will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. The Italian, who has been in charge of the European giants for six seasons across two spells, has a contract which runs until 2026. Ancelotti renewed his deal in December 2023 when rumours swirled over a historic move to the Brazilian national team.

Since then, the 65-year-old has added a LaLiga title and Champions League to his extraordinary list of accomplishments in the Spanish capital. Reports on Tuesday suggested that he will depart the Spanish capital in May regardless of what Madrid win this season, with Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso lined up as his replacement.

Ancelotti has set sight on remaining in the Spanish capital for another four years. 'Hahaha. I want to be very clear: I will never decide the date of my departure from this club in my life. I know perfectly well that it will come one day, but I will not decide that day,' the Madrid boss said when quizzed on the report.
'It could be tomorrow or in one or five years. I have the advantage that Florentino will be here for four more years and I have the objective of achieving them with him. We can say goodbye together.'. Ancelotti is one of the most decorated managers of all time and is the only boss to have won a league title in each of Europe's top-five divisions.
