Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) in Coronation Street was never going to get away with drugging Ken Barlow (William Roache) forever.
After accepting Steve’s offer of lunch in the Bistro, Cassie prepares to nip out just as Ken closes his eyes for a nap.
Away from the friendship she had built up with Ken, Cassie realised that meant her income would stop.
It meant that Ken would often fall unwell, allowing Cassie to carry on looking after him.
As Cassie’s plot has developed, she’s also taken to gaining access to Ken’s bank account details.
