NEWCASTLE fans brutally mocked Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta during Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final at St James' Park. The Magpies cruised to a 2-0 victory in the second-leg, taking the score up to 4-0 on aggregate. Arsenal had 34 shots across both games and failed to convert any of them. After the first leg, Arteta appeared to blame the Carabao Cup BALL for the amount of missed chances. He said: "We also kicked a lot of balls over the bar, and it's tricky that these balls fly a lot so there’s details that we can do better.

With the Gunners once again struggling to convert anything at St James' Park, Newcastle fans took the opportunity to mock Arteta for his comments.

During the second half, they started to chant: "It must be the ball, it must be the ball, Mikel Arteta, it must be the ball.". CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS.
