They tried for the 19-year-old in the summer and now want to offer a loan-to-buy arrangement. Essugo played 25 times for Sporting as a teen. In the summer, former boss Ruben Amorim - now at Manchester United - decided to loan him out. He has spent this season in LaLiga with Las Palmas.
