Child killer Lucy Letby's Christmas 'glow-up and dramatic new jail look'

Lucy Letby will have spent the majority of Christmas day locked in her cell with no visitors or presents, but it might not be as miserable as you imagine. The jailed former nurse would have been allowed to watch Christmas films on the private TV in her single cell according to reports, which claim she was given the luxury following an prison move. Letby, who was found guilty of murdering seven babies and deliberately harming six more between June 2015 and 2016, was handed a whole-life order for her heinous crimes in August last year.
The 34-year-old, who has maintained her innocence, is believed to be locked up in the privately-run HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, after being moved from the notorious HMP Low Newton in Durham. And a source claimed she has been granted new 'privileges' that other inmates are forced to wait much longer for, including a makeover. The Prison Service has said it 'cannot comment on individual cases'.
In keeping with prison rules, it is expected that the convicted murderer will spend at least 22 hours in her cell alone each day, including Christmas. She would have likely been allowed to read newspapers and books and watch television, but not much else. For an hour of the day, she would have been able to exercise and walk the prison grounds.
However, Letby, who was blonde when she was last pictured being arrested, has been allowed to enjoy some pampering and changed her appearance, a source claimed. According to The Sun, Letby was allowed to have a makeover, dyeing her her hair brown. It has also been reported that she is in a single cell where she has an ensuite shower, desk and television to herself. The private TV, it is claimed, has infuriated other inmates.
