A CHILLING funeral home discovery saw an explorer find 35 boxes of human "cremains" scattered across the floor. The creepy discoveries did not stop there as terrifying open coffins and an embalming room were pictured. Urban explorer Ben Stevens, 31, came across this chilling discovery in the US state of Georgia.
Ben, from Cambridgeshire, detailed what he found during a creepy visit to an abandoned funeral home. The explorer told his 171,000 social media followers half of the building had been ravaged by a fire but the other half remained intact. Ben said he was stunned to find containers of human cremains spread across the floor.
These are bone fragments and other remains of a dead person after cremation. The 31-year-old's gruesome finds did not stop there as he also discovered an embalming room and a section filled with caskets. Ben said the entire building was filled with leftover chemicals, machinery, files, records, and even a bright yellow suit.
The urban explorer described what made this adventure madder than his others, according to NeedToKnow. Ben said: “On this trip, I found over 30 boxes of human cremains which is crazy. “They were scattered across different rooms. It’s quite normal to find human remains in a funeral home.
“I visited another funeral home while on this trip and found 10 boxes.". Ben revealed why this adventure was particularly terrifying for him. He said: “The fact that I visited here, on my own, made it very creepy, but also quite exciting. “I loved the embalming room and the casket display room was really good.
