Petito was killed by her fiancé Laundrie in Wyoming while they were on a road trip in the summer of 2021.
The mother of Gabby Petito's killer Brian Laundrie wrote him a chilling 'burn after reading' letter in which she said she would help him bury a body because she loved him so much.
Responding to the letter, Gabby's stepmother, Tara Petito, said: 'The first time we saw that letter we were just so in shock and angry, how could she write this letter?
In her statement to the court, Roberta admitted her letter did contain references that some would think were about her son and Petito, but she maintained there is 'no connection' between her letter and the deaths.
Before Petito's remains were discovered - and when Laundrie went on the run - FBI agents searched his home and found that his mother, Roberta Laundrie, had penned a shocking personal note.
