BLAZING wildfires have continued to rip through Los Angeles and destroy everything in their path, but some celebrity houses have been spared from the inferno. Heartbroken A-listers like Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton and Bella Hadid witnessed their houses turn to smouldering rubble in the wind-fuelled flames.
More than 180,000 residents have been forced to flee their homes - with a further 200,000 warned they may need to quickly evacuate. Some celebrities have had to face the sheer force of the wildfires, with their homes burned to the ground. But others had their homes narrowly spared in the fires.
The home of Hollywood actor Tom Hanks, 68, was miraculously missed in the blaze - unlike his neighbors. Hanks' clifftop mansion in the Pacific Palisades managed to come out unscathed, with the gargantuan structure keeping its bright white walls and lush green lawn.
But the home just above wasn't as lucky, with barely any of its infrastructure left. Smoke is even captured still billowing from the charred remains of the multi-million-dollar home. Mandy Moore's home came dangerously close to being completely razed by the fire too.
The This is Us actress, 40, said in a heartbreaking post on Instagram that her home is "still standing," but a music studio belonging to her musician husband Taylor Goldsmith and brother Griffin was destroyed. She wrote: "We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss.
