Chris Pratt surfaced with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on Wednesday - as the Los Angeles wildfires threatened their Pacific Palisades home. Beginning on Tuesday, the Los Angeles area was struck by its worst windstorms in over a decade, fueling fires that have destroyed thousands of structures and claimed at least five lives over the past three days.
About 130,000 people are under evacuation orders or warnings, as the authorities prepare to send out K-9 units trained to detect human remains in the wreckage. One blaze in the Pacific Palisades has consumed a number of celebrity homes, including residences owned by Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, James Woods, Miles Teller - and Chris' first wife Anna Faris.
Katherine, 35, and Chris, 45, own a Pacific Palisades mansion they bought for $15.6 million in 2021, but have not announced whether it survived the inferno. The couple were seen Wednesday in the celebrity enclave of Montecito in Santa Barbara County, a safe distance from the catastrophe unfolding in Los Angeles.
