A SUSPECT has appeared in court after allegedly knifing two women to death in a Christmas day rampage. Teohna Grant, 24, was knifed along with Joanne Pearson, 38, in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, on Wednesday. The pair were pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday after Thames Valley Police raced to a block of apartments just after 6.30pm.
Jazwell Brown, 49, of Santa Cruz Avenue in Bletchley, has appeared in court today charged with two counts of murder. One of the two women is understood to have been his partner. He also faces two charges of attempted murder, relating to a young boy and a man in his 20s.
The pair have suffered serious injuries but their current condition is unknown. And Brown has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a dog by wounding and possession of a kitchen knife. He spoke only to confirm his name and address and did not enter a plea.
A neighbour previously said: “Me and my sister-in-law went out to see what was going on and walked down the road. “A young boy came running past frantically shouting, ‘You need to help me, he’s going to kill me.’. “By the time we turned back around the dad came round the corner and was walking towards us very quickly so the lad ran into our house.".
The neighbour continued: “I went into survival mode and got my sister-in-law into the house and locked the door to protect our family. “He had three stab wounds - to his head, chest and finger. “Me, my wife, my sister and brother-in-law, and their children were all in the house fearing the worst if he managed to kick the door down.
