The Traitors series three is proving every bit as popular as it's predecessors, thanks to the gameplay coming out of the remote castle in the Scottish Highlands. Now presenter Claudia Winkleman has told precisely why she is drawn to filming the hit BBC show from the wild location every autumn. “I’m allergic to summer clothes,” she laughed. "I never want to see a shoestring strap top or an open toe sandal. I don't do barbecues. I never leave the house between April and September. Give me big tights, a heavy sweater and a Wellington.".

The 52-year-old, known in the show for wearing fingerless gloves, huge knits and cosy capes, said the fashion choices made by her sylist Sinead McKeefry suit her down to the ground. But even she didn't think they'd influence anyone else to join in with the look.

“I don’t understand what happened.," Claudia told Grazia. "I’m a 52-year-old woman who happens to like a fingerless glove. I’ve always loved big sweaters and winter clothes. I’m a tiny orange lady, and my fringe is too long.". The new series has got the first all-female team of Traitors, with Minah having emerged as the understated leader, over her “sisterhood” of recently banished Armani and self-proclaimed “fun older person” Linda.

Claudia, who started out terribly worried that viewers wouldn’t take to the third series of The Traitors in the same way they had to the first two, insists she and the producers only ever pick people who want to be murderers for their hit-squad in the BBC gameshow.
