A former Browns quarterback, Dorsey arrived in Cleveland after one-and-a-half seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills.
Kevin Stefanski's team finished 3-14, their worst record since 2017, and struggled offensively all season long.
The Browns were beaten 35-10 by the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night in the final game of their season.
The team has also fired offensive line coach Andy Dickerson.
