Coronation Street confirms unexpected return as legend reels in 19 pictures

Coronation Street serves up the drama next week, as revealed in my new spoiler pictures, with the return of former face set to leave one character in shock. Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is left reeling when she comes face-to-face with Eric, dad of Aaron Sanford, on what was supposed to be a fun night out.
The confrontation knocks her for six and she seeks help from her dad Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), who ultimately misses her calls. Elsewhere, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) struggles with the situation she finds herself in. The long-running character is forced to wear a high vis jacket and pick up litter and she’s mortified as a result – especially when a group of teens proceed to heckle her.

The subsequent scenes leave her feeling even worse and thus she seeks support from Steve, who reassures her that she means the world to Sam as they reminisce over a bottle of wine. But will one thing lead to another?. That remains to be seen but what I can tell you is that there is trouble brewing for the Platt clan as Shona (Julia Goulding) is taken prisoner in the back of a van, with David (Jack P Shepherd) beside himself.
