Dallas Cowboys legend Dez Bryant has blasted the team's decision to promote offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to become the head coach. Bryant was far from the only one critical of the Cowboys landing on Schottenheimer, but did issue a unique four-word rebuke of the organization that made him famous.

Bryant played for Dallas from 2010 to 2017 before a string of injuries took him from one of the NFL's best to retired. 'Somebody is getting sabotaged,' Bryant said on X. Bryant added the phrase 'smh' as well, in light of his support being thrown behind Colorado head coach and fellow Cowboys legend Deion Sanders for the job.

The hiring of Schottenheimer to replace Mike McCarthy is an uninspired one for the Cowboys fan base, with Bryant speaking for more than just himself. Dez Bryant has blasted the team's decision to promote Brian Schottenheimer to head coach. Many have criticized 82-year-old Jerry Jones for not relinquishing control of the Cowboys.

'I honestly don't know how to feel right now..' Bryant said. 'I'm trying to understand what Jerry meant by saying he was "all in". Maybe the coach is good, maybe he's not, but my energy towards how the Cowboys have been mixing things doesn't feel like success anytime soon..'.

'It's no point for me to get riled up... I'm really looking forward to hearing Jerry's reason for this. .saying this is what the players wanted…I'll argue that only 1 or 2 players were asked.. and it was framed as what the team wanted…Somebody in the organization needs to step up and tell Jerry that the old ways of thinking don't exist in this new era…'.
