Ronaldo had plenty to celebrate on Sunday after netting his 20th goal of the season - and the 920th of his career - but by Monday afternoon he was paying tribute to Rodriguez. 'For the mother, partner, friend, my wife... happy birthday, love,' he wrote on Instagram.

Rodriguez, 31, enjoyed an elaborate cake as part of her celebrations with loved ones. She showed off a bouquet as part of the gifts she received from family and friends. The model showed off a bouquet with a collection of roses shaped like a heart in the middle, a pink gift bag of Laverne perfume - created by herself - and a snap of her celebrating with a cake.
