Danny Dyer was left stunned when presented with a football-related gift on A League of Their Own during Wednesday's (22 January) episode of the hit game show. The ex-EastEnders star was a guest on the TV show, along with Arsenal midfielder Jorginho. Danny joined Jill Scott's team, alongside Micah Richards, while the other team consisted of Jamie Redknapp, Jorginho and Rob Beckett. The teams went head to head in rounds of fun games, hosted by Romesh Ranganathan.
During the show, Jorginho revealed he had bought gifts for Rob and Danny with him, presenting the two stars with red Arsenal gift bags. The duo both received a signed Arsenal football shirt from the midfielder. While Rob appeared delighted with his gift, Danny - a lifelong supporter of West Ham United - was less impressed.
"Is that worth a few quid?" Danny joked as he pulled the shirt out of a gift bag. Jill added: "Yeah, you've got to keep that!" As Jill and Jamie encouraged him to take the shirt out of the bag, Danny inisisted he didn't want to. He joked: "Feels weird, a bit itchy!" The audience proceeded to laugh at his reaction, with someone then shouting: "Put it on!" to which Danny bluntly responded: "F*** off!".
Elsewhere in the episode of A League of Their Own, Danny was forced to abseil across the TV studio as part of a game. The Football Factory star donned a blue suit and helmet as he abseiled across the venue, while answering football-related quiz questions, delivered by host Romesh.
