Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has vowed to “never give up” in response to the criticism he has received following his miss in the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Slot revealed that Nunez was “quite down” in the dressing room afterwards but insisted his striker was “very unlucky” to miss such a big chance.
With just over 20 minutes to play at Villa Park and the score locked at 2-2, Nunez had a glorious chance to put Liverpool ahead.
