The Buffalo Bills suffered an agonizing defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game - costing Dave Portnoy a fortune. Before the Bills faced the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Sunday night, the Barstool Sports founder revealed he had placed a staggering $1million on Buffalo to win the Super Bowl this season.

He wrote on X: 'Here is a 3 team parlay for today. But I gotta be honest. My only focus is the Bills winning today cause I got a milly on them to win the Super Bowl.'. Unfortunately for Portnoy, Josh Allen was unable to inspire the Bills to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1994 after slumping to a dramatic 32-29 loss in Kansas City.

At the start of the fourth quarter the 47-year-old was left seething when Buffalo was controversially deemed to have missed out on a crucial first down, accusing NFL referees of 'cheating' to help Kansas City. He shared a photo of the moment in the game and said: 'Insane. #nflrigged'.

However, while taking aim at the officials once again, in an angry video message Portnoy also hit out at Bills head coach Sean McDermott for running a tush push 'without the push' in the first place.
