There's an easy hack to re-growing your luscious locks - but it could lead to hair growth on your face and neck, not just on your head. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Abby Waldman, based in Boston, Massachusetts, made a TikTok video about how to grow hair without accidentally getting it in unwanted places by using Minoxidil.
According to WebMD, Minoxidil solution foam and two percent solution can be used to help hair growth in women with thinning hair. To apply, women place Minoxidil directly on the scalp (Dr. Abby uses a makeup brush) and rub it in before bed. As increasingly more people deal with hair loss - and are more open about it on social media - they're looking for ways to re-grow hair.
However, some can go wrong without the right tips and tricks. Dr. Abby explained in the caption, 'Minoxidil five percent is effective for hair growth, but sometimes it can be too effective and you can get hair growing on places you don't want it like face and neck.'.
'POV: you avoid growing hair on your face while using Minoxidil by applying it with a makeup brush,' the Harvard assistant professor wrote over her video. There's an easy hack to re-growing your hair - but it could lead to hair growth on your face and neck, not just on your head (stock image).
