Disney shares first-look at child abduction drama that will leave viewers shaken

Disney+ has shared the first look at a riveting new thriller series from the producers of some of the most successful shows on Netflix. This five-part psychological drama is packed with A-list names fans will recognise from many of the biggest TV hits from the past few years.
Moreover, it comes from the mind of bestselling author Alex Dahl, based on her novel Playdate, and is produced by the studio behind several Harlan Coben mysteries, so enthralling drama and jaw-dropping twists are guaranteed. One Day and This Is Going to Hurt breakout Ambika Mod and Strike’s Holliday Grainger lead the all star cast.
Plus, Andor’s Denise Gough, Cloud Atlas’s Jim Sturgess, The Suspect’s Bronaugh Waugh and My Lady Jane’s Michael Workeye take supporting roles. Disney+ teases: “The series tells the story of fascinating, relatable and complex women in an unimaginable situation.”.
A full synopsis reveals a harrowing tale of an abducted young girl that is set to keep viewers on the very edge of their seats throughout each episode. “A seemingly ordinary decision turns the world of Elisa, mum to two young kids, upside down in this tense thriller,” it reads.
