THIS is the disturbing moment a crowd of gun-wielding terrorists swarm the Hamas truck holding three Israeli hostages. The shocking clip was taken inside Gaza as Hamas brought the three women to be transferred to the Red Cross and released back to Israel.
Horrified footage shows the victims can be seen swarmed by mask-wearing crowds with cameras, with some wielding guns and climbing onto the roof of the vehicle. Footage captured by TV channel Al Jazeera also features a TV reporter with a microphone caught in the crush.
It was the final humiliation by the terrorist group after nearly 500 days of captivity for the victims. The women are seen through the van door as swathes of Hamas terrorists - and in the background, Palestinian civilians - appear shout and scream at the hostages.
But thankfully following the carnage - all three women were safely released back to Israel. The fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has finally come into effect after 15 months of relentless warfare, with the first step being the hostage-prisoner exchange.
British Emily Damari, 28, has been released alongside two other women Romi Gonen, 24, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31. The three victims have been picked up by the International Committee of the Red Cross team from Gaza. The three women are to be met by medical teams and psychological support staff at three designated points along Gaza's border in Erez, Re'im and Kerem Shalom.
