Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) life hangs in the balance in Emmerdale after he suffered a heart attack on Christmas Day. The popular character was hellbent on destroying wife Kim Tate (Claire King) by playing her at her own game, working with her former financial advisor Peter to bring her down.

Peter, however, was in cahoots with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who famously has an axe to grind with Kim after she forced him to leave the village six years ago. Operation Destroy Kim Tate took a turn as, after Kim was injured on Christmas Eve, Will came to realise that he’s still deeply in love with her and therefore called the whole thing off.

But it was too late, with the wheels firmly in motion as Joe arrived at Home Farm to dob him in to Kim, detailing her husband’s secret plot. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video.

Up Next. Will tried to explain himself, urging Kim to give him another shot, but things took a devastating turn, with Will left clutching his chest after suffering a heart attack as he fell to the floor. Kim watched on, much like she did when previous hubby Frank Tate suffered a heart attack in 1997. The question is: does Will die?.

Yes, Will does die in Emmerdale. The episode, which is already available to stream on ITVX , sees Kim fail to believe that Will’s life is in danger. Joe, however, returns to Home Farm and tells her that her husband is, in fact, suffering a heart attack.
