The audience cheered and clapped as Barron, 18, stood and waved in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington DC, the alternate venue for Trump to be sworn for a second term as president.
Trump had said: "I have a very tall son named Barron, has anyone ever heard of him?"
The US President is expected to pardon hundreds of people prosecuted for their involvement in the violent insurrection at the US Capitol Building four years ago.
Barron, born in Manhattan, New York City on March 20, 2006, only made rare appearances during the 2016 election but has been seen more frequently this time round.
