The season kicked off with the Golden Globes on January 7 before we moved onto The Grammys, BAFTA Awards, Oscars and The BRITS. But away from the prizes, it was the backstage antics, on stage gaffes and history-making speeches which really got fans talking. The ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel kicked off 2024 awards season and as with any live show packed with wall-to-wall A-listers, there were some Hollywood shocks.

When her name was called for the 'Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy' category, the No Hard Feelings star looked at the camera and mouthed, 'If I don't win, I'm leaving.'. Just a few moments later her pal Emma Stone, 35, was announced as the winner, however Lawrence took the loss in stride and did not proceed to leave.
