Ferdinand recalled the eventful evening when Brown had one too many while United had been enjoying a festive party - but his antics went a little too far as he irked Keane during the celebration in Manchester.
Former United star Owen Hargreaves was also on the podcast and reflected on his own memories of Christmas Parties - recalling that it was difficult to have too many drinks due to the packaged festive fixture schedule.
Brown and Keane played together at Old Trafford for nine seasons and were part of an incredibly successful United team under Sir Alex Ferguson as the pair won the Premier League three times between 1997-98 and 2005-06.
I remember Roy Keane stopped drinking and we were out somewhere in Manchester and Wes kept trying to feed Roy a drink.
