Eamonn and Ruth issued warning as pair set for 'emotional and challenging' Christmas apart Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford's "significant" change this Christmas could still be a positive one, if they prioritise their 22-year-old son Jack's needs, an expert has warned.
Following reports that the pair are now only speaking through lawyers, Chloé Moreau, a relationship expert at ExpertsEnRencontres, believes their very different Christmas could actually "pave the way for a new sense of balance".
“Although challenging, this Christmas could be an opportunity for Ruth, Eamonn, and Jack to redefine what the holiday season means to them,” she continues.
To help those involved feel "connected", Chloe suggests "small but meaningful gestures, like establishing new traditions or creating special moments individually" with their son.
“Spending the holidays apart, especially after 20 years together, is bound to bring up emotions for both Ruth and Eamonn,” she explains.
