Ruth Langsford appeared to accept estranged husband Eamonn Holmes' olive branch as she made a cryptic social media move on Wednesday. Eamonn issued a public display of support for ex-wife Ruth, 64, as she paid an emotional visit to her unwell mother Joan in hospital earlier this week.
In his first notable contact with Ruth since their separation, the GB News presenter, 65, liked her post. The couple confirmed their 14-year marriage is over in June and are understood to be keen on ushering in a speedy divorce once Christmas and New Year are out of the way.
Now, Ruth has returned the public display of support and liked a post of he and his co-host Isabel Webster as they wrapped up their final show of the year. Alongside the snap, Isabel gushed: 'Final show from us for 2024. Thanks for your company this year. See you soon! Merry Christmas - I hope you all find some peace and joy❄️'.
