Eamonn Holmes has been supported by fans after announcing a new career project. The 65-year-old presenter took to Instagram to update his followers, after the changes taking place at GB News. Eamonn joined the channel in 2021 after his stint on This Morning, and presented the breakfast programme with Isabel Webster.
However, last week it was revealed she is among one of the presenters leaving, with Eamonn writing, ‘Bye my girl x,’ after the news was shared on social media. Ellie Costello will instead be taking over, while Mark Dolan has also been axed after three years on GB News.
Following the shake-up, Eamonn has revealed plans for a new show with Paul Coyte. The pair will be hosting a live show in Radlett in March 2025, with tickets available for £40. Eamonn wrote: ‘Coming your way soon and in theatres around the Country. Maybe the perfect last minute Christmas gift.’.
It’s titled ‘Things we like! With Eamonn and Paul,’ with meet and greet opportunities with Eamonn available. ‘Can’t wait, the best team,’ @ghloejaynegraham commented under Eamonn’s post. ‘My two favourite people! Love you both. Xxx,’ @dianamarner said.
‘Ooh will love this,’ @kathygeebo wrote while @dawn.neesom said: ‘Dream Team!’. This comes after claims Eamonn was ‘gutted’ to have presented his last show with Isabel. A source told The Sun: ‘Eamonn has loved working with Isabel over the years and they’re incredibly popular with viewers as a duo.
