Wrexham have confirmed midfielder Elliot Lee has been taken to hospital following a car crash after their match against Bolton on Tuesday night.
'Wrexham AFC can confirm that last night, after the Vertu Trophy match against Bolton Wanderers, a first-team player (Elliot Lee) was involved in a road traffic incident when returning home,' a statement read.

Lee, the son of former Premier League midfielder Rob, has been key player for Wrexham since joining the club in 2022.
Lee had featured in Wrexham's 1-0 victory over Bolton in the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday night.
