ELON Musk rang in the New Year alongside his new pal Donald Trump at his star-studded Mar-a-Lago bash after moving onto the estate. The tech tycoon could be seen with his son, X, 4, on his shoulders as Donald Trump's daughter-in-law serenaded the roughly 300-strong crowd.
JD Vance, Donald Trump with his wife Melania, Don Jr., and Eric Trump also attended the New Year's party. Lara Trump, Eric's wife and former RNC co-chair, captivated the bustling crowd as she performed a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down". She publicly released her version of the popular song earlier this year.
Footage from inside the extravagant event shows Musk holding his son X on his shoulders as he intently watches and listens to Lara. Among the high-profile attendees were Donald Trump Jr and his new girlfriend Bettina Anderson. This was their first public debut as a couple at the event.
Ted Cruz was also a guest at the lavish bash. Trump also took the opportunity to answer a few questions, which saw him once again claim he won his debate with Joe Biden. He said: "He had a chance to do it in the debate and that didn't work out too well for him.".
He reiterated his support for House Speaker Mike Johnson, explaining the current leader would be the only Republican who could get the votes in a speakership fight. Trump also confirmed that he would be attending Jimmy Carter's funeral but would not say if he had spoken to the late president's family.
