Musk has been working hard to please his new presidential buddy but Trump said on his Truth Social platform that he would like to see Musk "get more aggressive".
ELON Musk has sent a stern warning to all federal employees saying they must reveal exactly what they "got done last week" or resign.
The tech mogul revealed workers will receive an email which if they don't reply to will leave them without a job - as Musk and Donald Trump continue to crack down on government spending.
Both Trump and Musk also appear to be considering an idea which would see a payment sent to millions of taxpayers based on the savings compiled by DOGE.
He said: "Consistent with President @realDonaldTrump’s instructions, all federal employees will shortly receive an email requesting to understand what they got done last week.
