Unimpressed Eamonn Holmes compared tech billionaire Elon Musk to a Bond villain as the tycoon continues to wade into British politics. The GB News presenter isn't happy after he claimed Reform UK leader Nigel Farage "doesn't have what it takes" to run the country. The X owner has been passing comment on the running of the UK on his platform - and says Farage isn't the person to be in control of the party.

Eamonn gave viewers his take on the South African-born Tesla founder and said: "I have a lot of thoughts about Elon Musk. Elon Musk to me is the epitome of a Bond villain. He's got so much money, like so much money. Not just a little bit of money, he's got some crazy amounts of money.".

He concluded: "He can do exactly what he wants - and he's interfering in our politics." Agreeing with the views of Eamonn, his co-host Ellie Costello pointed out Elon's recent "hyper-fixation" on British politics and said: "It's all he's tweeting about" following the flurry of posts.

Musk claimed the Reform politician "doesn't have what it takes" and the unexpected call for change came just hours after a fawning Mr Farage branded him a "hero" and said his support makes his party "look cool". Musk posted on Twitter /X: "The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes.".

He later suggested that Reform MP Rupert Lowe could be the best bet to succeed him. Musk wrote: "I have not met Rupert Lowe, but his statements online that I have read so far make a lot of sense." It follows weeks of cosying up together, with Mr Farage suggesting Musk could plough millions of pounds into his party.
