ELON Musk has backed the Reform party and is "ready to donate £78million" to help Nigel Farage beat the Tories and Labour. The billionaire - who has been a vocal critic of Sir Kier Starmer's government - met with Farage in Florida this week where it is understood the "issue of money" was discussed.

In the gathering between the Tesla Tycoon, the party leader and party treasurer Nick Candy, Musk described the UK as being in "very deep trouble". Writing in The Telegraph, Farage said of the meet-up: "It is heartening to listen to Elon speak about UK politics with such deep care.

"He regards the mother country of the English-speaking world as being in very deep trouble. "He described the Labour and Conservative parties as the uniparty, and left us in no doubt that he is right behind us. "Inevitably, following such intense media speculation, the issue of money was discussed, and there will be ongoing negotiations on that score.".

Farage shared a photograph of the two on Musk's X on Tuesday with the caption: “Britain needs Reform.”. Musk replied: “Absolutely.”. The trio were snapped as a group underneath a portrait of a younger Donald Trump at his Mar-A Lago home in the US state.

The leading Brexiteer earlier said: “We had a great meeting with Elon Musk for an hour yesterday. "We learned a great deal about the Trump ground game and will have ongoing discussions on other areas. “We only have one more chance left to save the West and we can do great things together.
