It's a big week ahead on Emmerdale next week, as spoilers detail deadly scenes and other huge twists. There's another flashforward, while multiple characters could face death as a horrifying crash stunt kicks off. Amid this there's a revenge plan, an arrest, secrets exposed and relatives clashing. It's safe to say life in the village could change forever as a group of residents face serious peril. Kicking off with the stunt, next week will see a flashforward of a frozen lake with a hand pounding on the ice from underneath.

But who is trapped in the water and will they survive? As the storyline begins, there's a night out up for grabs with a limo in a raffle. Liam Cavanagh is keen to win as he wants to propose to partner Chas Dingle. Liam's grateful for her son Aaron Dingle's blessing, only for him to be left gutted when he fails to win the prize. Liam begs Suzy Merton to get hold of another limo for him, while it turns out Kerry Wyatt has won the initial prize.

She decides to treat some of the girls to a night out including Chas, leaving Liam annoyed when he finally gets his hands on his very own vehicle for the same evening. He covers with a boys outing, and soon the two groups make their way to the limos unaware of the terror ahead. Charity Dingle and Caleb Miligan turn chauffeurs for the day, while Liam is still secretly plotting his big proposal. There's chaos in one limo and a row breaks out in the second, and soon enough the drivers are both distracted and both forced to swerve in unrelated incidents.

One limo crashes onto the frozen lake, and as it begins to crack it's clear lives are on the line - but who will survive? Amid the chaos, one character makes a discovery that leaves them plotting revenge against their own brother. When Caleb finds out that the morning after pill he recently discovered at home can't have belonged to his daughter Steph, a moment Steph spots between her mum Ruby and Caleb's brother Cain leads to their fling being possibly exposed. Cain hears about the interaction, weeks on from him being told by Anthony Fox that Ruby and Cain had slept together.

Caleb struggles with what he likely knows and ends up breaking down, and soon Cain's lies about his chat with Ruby confirms his theory. Caleb's face darkens as he tries his hardest not to attack his brother but it's clear he wants revenge. As the night out kicks off Caleb avoids Cain, but a moment at some point in the week sees a twist as Cain is arrested in connection to Anthony’s disappearance. Steph is appalled to think Caleb and Ruby are defending Cain - so will Anthony's real killer be revealed?.

Also next week Joe Tate's secret could come to light amid it becoming clear he is up to no good. Amid a fling with Dawn Taylor, him claiming to have a painkiller addiction and him trying to get brother Noah Dingle to move to Dubai with him, Charity makes it clear she and Kim Tate are on to him. Joe realises Kim has bugged his room and so he fakes a positive family phone call. When Noah declines the Dubai move he's left shocked by his brother's reaction, and soon he's even more annoyed to find his tools have been stolen.

As Dawn is turned against Joe, they aren't alone as Charity and Noah inform him they know he is the one who took the tools and he's been conned. Cain takes action and threatens Joe, but soon there's a mysterious phone call concerning his brother Noah. Elsewhere in the village next week, Leyla and son Jacob clash, Amy and Matty’s meeting with a social worker doesn’t go to plan, and Mary is jealous of Suzy and Vanessa. Also next week, Moira is horrified when a chunk of her hair falls out and she demands Cain leaves her alone - leading to him opening up to Charity and Lydia about his situation with Moira. As he vows to cheer her up, will things go to plan?.
