Coronation Street favourite Vicky Myers opened up about her close friendship with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley.
Recently, the Emmerdale star took to social media to praise co-star Vicky’s work in the rival soap, revealing that she was ‘unbelievably proud’ of her ‘pretend TV baby sister’ for ‘knocking it out of the park’.
‘I’ve had so many letters and messages, and people stopping to talk to me to share their stories, which is beautiful,’ Vicky told the publication, before revealing the effort she has gone to to ensure the story is being played in the right way.
The Lisa Swain actress worked alongside the Mandy Dingle player on BBC series Age Before Beauty in 2018, where they played sisters Heidi and Tina.
Away from her work as the local detective sergeant, Lisa is now in a relationship with Carla Connor (Alison King), after months of speculation from fans, who were eager to see the women make it official.
