England legend releases astonishing statement on blocked Man Utd January transfer Chloe Kelly has released an emotional statement about her future, with the England star hoping to push through a move away from Manchester City.
Kelly, who memorably scored the winning goal as England won Euro 2022, has struggled for game time so far this season with the likes of Mary Fowler, Vivianne Miedema and Khadija Shaw all ahead of her in the pecking order.
In a post on Instagram, Kelly wrote: "For a long time, I've tried to work through professional challenges privately, not commenting publicly, but with my situation increasingly being debated in the public domain, I feel it's time to be open and transparent, and you heard it from my perspective.
According to the Telegraph, Manchester United are among the clubs interested in her services but City do not want to let Kelly join a rival on loan.
I'm at a pivotal point in my life and my career is so important to me, and [it] is very disappointing that the sport we love can make you feel this way, especially after there's been so much growth in our sport.
