Truffert debuted for Rennes in 2020 after coming through the Ligue 1 club's academy. He has gone on to play 176 times for the Red and Blacks. Truffert earned his France debut in September 2022 during a clash with Denmark. The wing-back received the call-up following an injury to former Everton favourite Lucas Digne.
