WARNING: This article contains spoilers for The Crow Girl. The Crow Girl sees villain Carl Lowry quickly become the number one suspect as the city’s serial killer - but where have fans seen actor Trevor White before?. Author Erik Axl Sund’s best-selling trilogy of the same name has been released on Paramount+ with DCI Jeanette Kilburn (played by Eve Myles) and DI Lou Stanley (Dougray Scott) investigating a series of murders as bodies of beaten young men start showing up.

Simultaneously, dentist Carl Lowry (Trevor White) is arrested for possession of child abuse images as the first body is dumped outside his offices, leading Jeanette to believe that he is somehow involved. And with Lowry as one of the key suspects in the gripping thriller, it’s no wonder fans are eager to know more about the man behind the sadistic villain.

Canadian and British actor Trevor White has featured in some major shows and films throughout his almost 30-year career but his first ever credit was in the TV movie A Kidnapping in the Family as the “assistant director”. Since then, he has appeared in Mindhunters, The Line of Beauty, Foyle’s War, A Summer in Genoa and was also the voice of Eddie in the American children’s Chuggington for a year back in 2008.

Downton Abbey fans may recognise White for portraying Major Patrick Gordon, an injured officer who claimed that he was really Patrick Crawley, although no one believed him apart from Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael). In more recent years, White has featured in The Durrells, Doctor Who and I Hate Suzie.
