Milan are said to be on the hunt for another striker and Morata's game time would therefore be limited at the San Siro. He is a familiar name to Premier League audiences, having spent two seasons with Chelsea between 2017 and 2019, scoring 24 times in 72 games.

Now the 32-year-old could be set to decamp to Turkey, with Milan and Galatasaray in adanced talks according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The news comes just days after it was confirmed that Morata and his wife Alice Campello are back together five months after announcing they had split.

Alvaro Morata is reportedly close to joining Galatasaray from AC Milan with the clubs in talks. It comes just days after he and wife Alice Campello appeared to re-launch their relationship. The former Chelsea striker has struggled for goals in Milan after shining at Atletico Madrid.

Morata is sometimes derided by fans for not scoring enough for an elite striker but there is little doubt over his technical ability, physicality, and link-up play. His all-round game has made him a go-to man for Europe's biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid - and they often have him back for a second stint.
