JUVENTUS are in talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and are also considering a move for West Ham's Jean-Clair Todibo. Chukwuekmeka, 21, joined the Blues from Aston Villa for £15million in 2022 but has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge.
He has only played five times this season, with four appearances coming in the Conference League. All of his games have ended in victory but he has not provided a goal or an assist. Since arriving in London, he has made 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring just twice.
Chelsea would prefer a permanent sale but are open to loaning the midfielder until the end of the season. Juventus have already loaned Blues defender Renato Veiga until the end of the season. West Ham signed Todibo, 25, on loan with an obligation to buy from Nice in the summer and do not want to lose the Frenchman this month.
The Hammers have just three senior central defenders and want to add at the back before the window closes on Monday. Any move for Todibo is also complicated by the fact he is currently recovering from a calf injury. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS.
But that has not stopped the Italian side from exploring a move. Manager Graham Potter has insisted he is just trying to help the players despite speculation. He said: "At this time of year there's a lot of speculation but we just have to ignore the noise, help the players and keep working.".
