With the Chiefs at 3rd and 9 in the first drive of the Super Bowl, Mahomes looped out of the pocket back in on himself and as he finally released the ball, Jalen Carter dived and took him to the ground.
There were multiple other moments during the game - where Mahomes was sacked or seemed to throw an inexplicable interception by his imperious standards - where fans wondered if he has troubled by a head issue.
