Cotton said she found the experience of undergoing the procedure "fascinating", that she is "feeling grateful" the tumour was benign, and that she had good care.
The Happy Place presenter uploaded four pictures of her jaw after her surgery, adding: "Only swipe if you want to see the gradual stages of healing.
The TV, radio, and podcast host, 43, posted pictures of her scars on her Instagram page on Saturday.
She also thanked her surgeon who "made her feel extremely calm" and described her nurses as "complete angels".
