Ferne McCann says she has her heart set on acting and plans to leave the convoluted world of reality TV behind after her stint on Dancing On Ice. The TV personality, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2013, quit her ITV show My Family And Me last year having previously appeared on Celebrity: SAS Who Dares Wins and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
Now Ferne is hoping to move on from reality TV as she is looking to 'explore acting opportunities' and hopes to 'create a film legacy'. The mother-of-two also said she hopes to dip into producing and wants to create a film of her life story - with Hollywood actress Florence Pugh taking the lead.
She told The Mirror: 'In 2025 I'm going to explore acting opportunities. I'd love to do something really cool and produce something and create a film legacy maybe a movie of my life, why not. 'I've got a good story to tell, and I'd like to feature in it too. Maybe Florence Pugh could play me. I love her. I've already done an off-West End performance in Gatsby and I've always loved performing so Dancing On Ice is going to give me that chance to perform.'.
