Fiancee of Irish sports star is found dead in river tragedy The fiancée of Irish sports star Conor Loftus has been found dead in a river tragedy in County Mayo.
Roisin was the fiancee of acclaimed Gaelic footballer Conor Loftus (pictured together last year).
Róisín Cryan, 28, was tragically recovered from the River Moy on Saturday morning, local media reports.
She was identified as the partner of Gaelic footballer Conor Loftus, 29, who plays for Crossmolina Deel Rovers.
Ms Cryan's body will be taken to St Mary's Church in Carrick-on-Shannon tomorrow, ahead of a mass and burial on Wednesday.
