First club make Dani Olmo move as Man City and Arsenal eye free deal for Barcelona star AC Milan have attempted to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to the punch and sign Dani Olmo, it has been claimed.
Olmo scored five times in 11 La Liga appearances in the first half of the season, including three in his first three games before an injury interrupted his fast start.
City and Arsenal are both fans of Olmo, and have been linked with an opportunistic swoop without paying a transfer fee, but Milan appear ready to test the water as well.
However, La Liga's wage restrictions leave the Catalan club in danger of being unable to register him for the second half of the season.
This meant Barca - despite falling outside the cap - were able to call upon Olmo and Pau Victor while they were without Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen.
