Furious Miami and Duke basketball fans fume at Tiger Woods and TGL over major ESPN conflict College basketball fans tuning into ESPN for Miami's game against Duke Tuesday night received a shock when Tiger Woods appeared on their screens instead.
Despite the match having long been over thanks to a beatdown of Woods' team at the hands of Los Angeles, ESPN opted to continue showing the simulator showdown instead of switching over to the Hurricanes' game against Duke.
The college hoops matchup was slated to air on the network's primary channel at 9pm ET Tuesday, immediately after Woods' debut match in his new indoor golf venture, TGL.
Woods and Jupiter Links' matchup against Los Angeles Golf Club ran over by 20 minutes.
'Miami and Duke not starting on time literally because of what's basically video game golf on,' one social media user fumed on X, formerly known as Twitter.
